I guess that's the core of the situation. No personally I dont trust him. I'm probably wrong about that but Canelo could get hurt and postpone. That leaves G with no unification, no Sept. fight and no income and getting rusty. Ironic isn't it..

An excuse to stay put and wait on a Canelo payday.
168 was BS. There wasn't enough $$$ in a fight to merit the risk. I believe that GGG would've gone to 154 for Mayweather -- because he would have got PAID $$$$$ for it. But Team GGG wasn't going to 154 for anybody else.

Yes, GGG is waiting for a Canelo payday. Of course he is, and I don't think anyone should fault him for it. Canelo will pay him more than Ward would at 168, and at much less risk. How horrible of GGG to evaluate risk/reward and choose $$$ over glory. (although he'll probably get more $$ for beating Canelo than he's get if he beat Ward).

And to answer your other question, yes, I do think GGG has a good shot to get Canelo in Sept. Canelo would be SLAMMED if he ducked it. I think GGG will have to accept that Canelo is the A-side.

There is a chance that Team Canelo chooses Lemeiux (I think Cotto is a possibility too) -- but its valid for GGG to chase this payday.

If he doesn't get Canelo in Sept, GGG can always try to get the great BJ Saunders in late summer.

Canelo will definitely get hurt. Chavez and his big ass head along with Canelo's fragile, injury-prone ass, he definitely wont leave this fight without some injury.

He tried to fight Saunders before he fought Brook. Saunders wanted no part of it. Boxers don't duck other boxers they can easily beat. Saunders isn't that good and he isn't the least bit scary. What has Saunders done in the ring in the last two years that would make GGG or any other top middleweight duck him? Saunders is the one ducking good opponents.

Saunders is trying to fight him now. How do you know he can easily beat Saunders? He was supposed to easily beat Jacobs. That didn't happen.

A twitter feed from 31-Mar to prove a point? I think MCC you can do better than that..
Saunders has no new feeds saying something or taunting Golovkin.. what does that tell you?

Considering how each year they tell us that GG is going to be more active and fight 4 times, it's just another sad move.
I hate the word "ducking" here, because I don't think he's necessarily afraid of Saunders, but I do think it's clear he's avoiding this in favor of the Canelo fight. Basically, bending over for Oscar.

I'm going to stop following the negotiations it's a cluster****. I still think G is a great fighter but what the heck does he want? He's acting like a contender not a champion. Canelo is a little weasel but G is kissing his ass. I'm losing respect for him.

Naw, I think you should be more hard toward K2. No pun intended..

Cobra and I, as well as the rest of the gang have guaranteed throughout the course that K2 &a Friends are full of shıt..

Let's make this very very simple..

This guy is 35. At this point oldies like Oscar and Chavez Sr. fought tough dudes... where is LLL's inner motivation to challenge himself? LLL fans ideally would be upset that he hasn't gone for the WBO with certainty, UNLESS Loeffler will make it clear that the negotiations didn't go s planned no which means they couldn't afford Saunders.

We went from Brook to a house arrest inactive fighter with literally limited mobility. How in the hell cana professional athlete practice proper foot work with a trace brace on?! K2 knew of this and went with it! They could've made headlines and ask for Murata who was after Wade. How would K2 get punished because they cared for the well being of Wade? That is honorable yet HBO and Loeffler proceeded with it along with the IBF...utter shadiness and Golovkin fans with little IQ will still justify it...

We went from a guy who called Brook a clown because of his Division status and that his focus was 160...then went and did it. K2 would be the creme of the crop had they avoided Brook and blamed Hearn and Eubank for wasting time... We know Hearn is a shady goon because he was the one who mentioned Brook at a catch for LLL right after Khan got KO'd...

So...what does all this mean? We've got Saunders who's a consistent Southpaw, a type that I proved way before who had problems with Gardner, Ouma, and as we saw Jacobs!!! How is this any different for boxing fans and analysts saying that Floyd ducked Williams because he had problems with Southpaws? Said Arum.. those are stylistic comparisons. Should we compare Williams to Judah?

Gennady needs the WBO. Just do it and cement your legacy? This way at least he can make defenses up to bhops record with all the belts. A guy who said Nelo was too big and disrespectful to boxing when called out at 155 yet wanted Floyd or PAC at 154... ffs sake put two and two together.

Conclusion. He ducking. Second, "business man" as most votes, but but but Alvarez can't be a "business man."

LLL exposed. Eat the cake ladies
