It's just a game. Some people deliberately pick the underdog for the possible points alone. If there was money involved, people would pick who they really believe will win. In the end, you get nothing of significance. Like beating a friend in 2K, Madden, or MLB The Show...doesn't mean you know more about them in that sport.

I know zero about NFL, yet in my first NFL fantasy league try I ended up with the best record and made it to the championship and i'm still clueless and those who I beat still know more than me. I don't follow NBA, or knew any players beside the mainstream one's that everyone else knows, yet in my first try for NBA fantasy I made it to the playoffs, though I was the worst one of those who made it to the playoffs, I still made it. Still don't know **** about basketball though.

Fantasy is nothing like sport betting.. if you pick the right players which are usually ranked by their stats anyway they will do all the work for you, and reguardless of odds in boxing if you pick the round a fight is stopped in that's gonna pay out good, still mad at myself about being a round off on the loma fight last week.
