At what point does it become insulting to the fan base? Oscar does a fair amount of comparing that I always cringe at, but this comment is just plain wrong.

I expect the fight to do good PPV sales, but it likely won't be competitive.

Oscar isn't concerned about insulting canelos fan Base because frankly they're too gullible to know that they're being taken as fools. They believed him when he said "to people who know boxing, khan is the favorite over Canelo", they believed him when he said "beefy Smith is the most dangerous 154 pound champ" they believed when he said that the wbc and their deadline is the reason Canelo dropped the belt, and they'll believe this nonsense about it being comparable to Barrera and morales. It's by far the most simple minded fan base in sports.
