I know he held a lot, but is the number 14/round accurate?

if so, that's like every 12 seconds brook was clinching! how the hell did he get away with that?

That's because he arguably beat Thurman.

The Brook fight was scored closer than it should have been. Porter landed about 5 good punches all fight and couldn't bully Brook to the ropes; Brook made him look like an amateur and completely nullified him.

Every Porter fight is a clinch-fest, the only difference is Brook was stronger than him and couldn't be pushed around, hit behind the head, etc...

Watch the fight and start counting and then get back to me.

You are one of those guys if you liked Porter then you would had criticized the holding. The holding in that fight was excessive

the fight wasn't a great one, so i certainly won't watch again to count how many times brook clinched, ffs.

you posted the number, so i was just asking if 14 was accurate....i'm not doubting you.

Porter narrowly lost both fights wouldn't mind a rematch with either.

Porter is probably the most naturally talented and athletic boxer in the welterweight division, but he like Berto or Broner, doesn't have the trainer to put that athleticism behind strong fundamentals.
                Like a Tyson or McClellan.

Some rounds were more than others. Somebody here was arguing with me that he didn't clinch that much. I watched and counted. That fight was annoying. Brook showed skill but the ref allowed him to clinch way too much

Of course. Stylistically, he stands a better chance of beating Thurman than Brook. As a fan, I agree with him. The Thurman fight was much more entertaining.

Brook should have tied up GGG or at least attempted to like he did Porter.

i think porter could pull of the win in a rematch, but my interest in seeing thurman again really dropped after garcis
