I wouldn't be surprised if ward retires if he beats kovalev. He talked about it after the first fight, so at least in some part he doesn't have it in him anymore. If kovalev wins...i see a 3rd fight.

kovalev wins ward will retire for sure. he doesn't have it in him to fight kovalev three times. roc nation has no rematch clause for part 2 for a reason. andrea is very close to retirement either way

It might depend on how he lost...but i agree that he's close to retirement either way. He seems bitter about not getting the respect he thinks he deserves, and he's made many statements basically saying he's given up on that. Between that and his accomplishments, what's left to fight for?

Which once again goes back to my comment about having a **** promoter lol. Barrera will be fighting on HBO, HBO Latino but still HBO nonetheless. Meanwhile Beterbiev is fighting on what network again?

EDIT: Just checked Boxrec and the fight that was announced for him isn't even scheduled.
