If this is how you feel then you should put some money on Kovalev especially if he's the underdog.

You don't go into a fight vs someone like Kovalev "if your heart isn't in it anymore."

Don't get me wrong, I'm sure his heart is in each and every fight, but his passion for the sport is fading. He said himself that he is contemplating retirement this year. He spent a few years of his prime sitting on the sidelines with lawsuits rather than stay active. I just think Ward is no longer hungry and is tired of the sport I general. I saw the same thing in Roy Jones shortly before he got KO'd by Tarver. He was more interested in basketball and other ventures and seemed bored with it all.

Tbh I don't think Ward would fight Beterbiev. Not because he's afraid (as TS is insinuating) but because I don't think the money would be there. Beterbiev is a nobody. No one knows this guy. He has 0 promotion and the fight would draw... no one.
