I think this is based around trying to prove fighters you like are better or going to be better than Floyd. If you already believe that Lomachenko is heads above Floyd's career, then so be it.

I wouldn't even say being undefeated is the biggest factor. There are many greats highly regarded more than Floyd who have lost. It's about who they lost to, when they lost, etc. Loma has a loss, but he could potentially be greater over the next 10+ years. However so far, he has good wins vs Walters and Russell, but a loss to Salido.

Lomachenko is 29 and as far as I am concerned has many years left to prove that or disprove that. As for now though, I personally can't vouch for him as a HOFer like some of you seem to.
