Wouldn't a better comparison be their first 9 fights? Mayweather has had a near 50 fight career against all of the greats of his generation, and we're putting his stats up against a guy who lost to a not-prime Orlando Salido? That's pretty damn disrespectful.

Lomachenko is a phenomenal fighter and an absolute delight to watch in the ring, but he hasn't done anything to warrant this. Besides that, he hasn't been a pro long enough for any stat comparisons to be accurate anyway.

Its ridiculous to compare the both. Will Loma be dominant in his late 30s like Floyd was? Will Loma be successful in moving up divisions like Floyd did and adapt and change his fighting style while fighting bigger men? They're trying to compare Loma to and the older version of Floyd who change his style as he got older and went up in weight. People complaining that Loma shouldn't move up because he's too small, yet if he's as skillful as people think he is, he should have no problem dominating bigger fighters like Manny and Floyd did. Loma was complaining about Salido being 11 lbs heavier than him yet both Manny and Floyd fought guys who outweighed them by more than than that on many occasions. Loma has skills but will see how he handles fighters like Garcia, Linares, Berchelt. He's fought good opposition on paper but if your going to make excuses for fighters that Floyd beat , then at least bring up that Loma beat a Walters who hadn't fought in over a year, a Martinez who had been dominated and stopped by Garcia and a Gary Russell who fights nothing but TBAs. People need to see how his career plays out before calling him an ATG
