that guy insinuated Team GGG are all about the money
Miguel Cotto was Golovkin's best possible payday
Team Golovkin did not seem concerned about the money AT ALL, back when Cotto was still a world-class fighter who was icing the same fools that Golovkin was knocking out
Golovkin cutting weight would have given Cotto more than a chance..... now that aint right in my book, but who fkn cares about my book..... Team Bullshht said they could do it, but when push came to shove they totally refused to negotiate
that fight was a no-brainer for Golovkin
that team are making the exact same risk/reward decisions as everyone else..... they are taking the fights they want, and are passing on the rest
people need to cut the bullshhtComment

I don't believe any of that
this has nothing to do with money suddenly disappearing
this has everything to do with their preferred opponent suddenly disappearing
they were never going to fight Saunders in Kazakhy
when Warren agreed to ALL terms, he cornered them..... making it impossible for Team Golovkin to brush him off with yet another "we can't make them fight us" excuse..... and, surprise surprise, no fight
if they could fight yet another no-hoper in Kazakhy, they would be preparing to do just that, right now
This makes sense, and history is there to back up your statements. They had to make up the injury bs and now use the september date and Canelo as an excuse to dodge their plans of fights some bum in kazaj***stan... now they will say no to Canelo on sept 17... ggg will not get a better offer than the 15 mil that they allegedly got from golden boy... k2 are idiots and people who don't see it are just as much
that is exactly right, nothing will change
except the bleating and excuses from his fansComment

they want Hopkins record waaay more than anything else
you think ggg and his team fear Saunders?? Saunders?? The guy who just struggled with a D level fighter in his last fight and one of the worst champions in any division? Canelo has come off fighting khan and beefy and you have the nerve to criticize gggs opposition? And who cares of they told gomez anything. Canelo has his own ppv fight to get through next month and it's not like historally he or his team have been eager to truly fight ggg.
I think that boxing is all about matchmaking
and Golovkin has been protected by some of the best matchmaking in the business
if your style is " available ", meaning that Gennady can land on you, then they back his power to win the fight..... and rightly so..... if Golovkin can land on you, then you will get that fight..... but if you are a master-boxer, like Cotto/Ward/Canelo..... or a known mover/spoiler like Lara/Mora..... then forget it
boxing has ALWAYS worked that way, so you guys are tripping if you think that Team Bullshht are cut from a different cloth..... they are taking the fights they want and are passing on the rest..... just like everyone else
and there is no point in you belittling Saunders..... or Mora, Lara, or anyone else for that matter..... because Team Bullshht provided a bunch of silly childish excuses to brush off any talk of Mora/Lara, but then proceeded to fight guys who were WORSE..... and yep, those guys were all "available"
Mora would have been an ideal name/opponent for Golovkin back when that fight was first mentioned, a former champ who has clearly faded is the very best opponent for a fighter who is trying to establish himself on the world stage..... and until recently Lara would have been Golovkin's best name/opponent
Golovkin would have had similar problems with Saunders that he had with Jacobs, and they will not take any risks with Golovkin..... that is what I am sayingLast edited by aboutfkntime; 04-11-2017, 10:20 PM.Comment

Maaaaan I was keen on the Saunders fight, Saunders would have given GGG problems for sure, why wait around for a possible fight, f*** DLH. They should have made the Saunders fight for July or August.Comment

seriously, GGG - and you guys - should never have mentioned Ward
Canelo has excellent skills, and will not be " available " for Golovkin..... which is why Mr "anyone from 154-168" totally refused to negotiate on weight..... and that is also why Mr "businessman" refused 15mil
if they knew they could beat Canelo they would have fought him already, instead of first back-tracking on their promises regarding the weight, and then back-tracking on all that "businessman" talkComment

Whether Cotto's side or GGG's side is to blame in any negotiations falling apart I couldn't really care less.Comment
