First it was that he didn't properly train for the biggest fight of his life. Now is that he over trained and it sounds that he knows that he faded which caused him to lose.

Kovalev will train harder....

Kov is going to train harder even if it's just more road work. He faded in the fight due to Ward's body work and constant pressure which he wasn't used to and it hurt him mentally because he wasn't use to someone acutally fighting him.

Kovalev won the first fight but he also didn't help himself by fading down the stretch

I really do feel ward will win this time for real because Kovalev is going to come out and try and take his head off then frustration/desperation will set in when he realizes the rounds are ticking by and its going to the cards again

Kovalev was the better FIGHTER thst night we all saw it. Ward getting away with dirty tactics and having the ref and judges steal that fight was a disgrace. Kov shoukd have mandated the rematch be in nyc or Russia because he isnt going to be able to win a decision in Wards home area. Vegas is 4 hour drive from Wards home. Such a joke of a fighter Ward is.

This is all great marketing: Kovalev making the excuse at the promotional presser, Ward saying that he's giving him a rematch, so no excuses. It's a recipe for a mega fight rematch. Don't read too much into it, just sit back & enjoy the show.
