Rigo was/is way more overhyped than Lomachenko

He has one great win over Donaire, (who funnily enough is called a hype job by Rigo diehards) and this was seemingly enough to have him in the top five pound for pound indefinitely. He's been in these mythical p4p rankings for years despite a string of mediocre wins against meh opponents. Meanwhile Lomachenko has completely destroyed world class opponents such as Russell Jr and Walters, not just beat but utterly decimated.

And these same people say he doesn't deserve to be ranked p4p?? Yet they had Rigo in their top 5 p4p for what reason exactly? One great win and passing the "eye test" .

He's an amazing talent but just doesn't fight often enough. Why the he'll did he come to England to fight ****ens? Thats not the right career move for a man who's mentioned in the p4p list. Hopefully he gets in the mix before his age catches up with him.

Why are you being a revisionist? When rigo beat donaire he was coming off a string of victories that had him in every top 5 p4p ranking. Rigo destroyed him.

Loma has not defeated any boxer as highly regarded. Added to that his loss to Salido suggests his style needs to be tweaked when in with above average bigger men with a lot of pro experience.

Honestly it feels like this is another one of your coded passive bait threads. Maybe it isn't since you are just off a ban.

Rigo has great boxing skill, but yes he's underwhelmed. In 4 years he hasn't followed up and his opposition gets worse and the fights get more boring.

Lol you're so transparent. No he was not. People still hated him even his own damn promoter after he schooled nonito who was top 10 pfp. Lima hasn't beaten anyone as good as him yet

He may be a troll but everything he said is true, and you can't dispute it, just resort to murmuring ' salido doe '

Please enlighten us all and explain how beating donaire 4 years ago and no one since deserves a top P4P ranking

While beating Walters, gary russell etc definitely doesn't deserve p4p ranking.

Walters beat the crap out of Donaire. That's in the same ballpark.
