    My concern for Lomachenko

    He seems ambitious which is great to see a fighter want to test himself with the best but realistically how far up in weight can he go?

    He only had two fights at 130 and one of them was with a fellow 126lber who moved up.

    At 126 he rehydrated to 136 when he moved up to 130 he still only rehydrated to 136, i think in the Walters fight he was 137. With Sosa he was his heaviest ever and only 139. Mickey on the other hand i think rehydrated to 150 i believe. If Salido was 147 at fight night and that was seen as to much. If he goes up there are some big guys in 135, Mickey might even be the smallest. Flaggan and Easter are big LW's in size and weight.

    If he wants to make history and challenge himself fine, but he just moved up from 126, he should imo establish a linage and become lineal at 130.

    The difference is that he is good enough to be the smaller man and still win. He very rarely gets hit clean. His last two performances have been outstanding in my opinion and I think he could go as far as 140 and still win titles. We need the Garcia fight to happen because that will be special.

      lomas confidence is sky high right now. he could care less about stuff like this he just wants the big names on his resume. usually when a fighter thinks that highly of himself he has to be humbled in the ring. who gonna humble him?

        I think he would kill at 140. He would smash a guy like broner

          I think he's too intelligent to put himself in a position where he's in major danger. Getting cheated against Salido taught him a lot about the pro's. I think he will remain ambitious but you probably won't see him being crazy demanding with catch-weights and clauses etc;

          I think he will be at lightweight to clean it out and dominate for a while. There's young talent there and at 126-130 to come up too.

            At 135 i don't think its as easy as people think, hopefully im wrong but imo size matters.

                I believe the same. He will be clearly outsized at 135 but maybe that's the only way we could see him challenged.

                  I think he needs to slow down a little. If his intention is to move up to 135, he should put on the size so he isn't out muscled but gradually so it doesn't affect his speed and movement. If the other belt holders at 130 don't want to fight, he should move up tho. Mikey garcia is a pretty big lw and isn't a first fight at 135 kinda fight.

                    I have no problem with that, if Loma feels he could do that thats his chocie. Im saying he just got to 130, people assume he would just be the same at 135 and i dont think thats true. Before the Sosa fight 130 was a great hot division and now after it seems everyone feels different about 130 which is wrong maybe loma is that much better and division is really good. He still has other 130 title holders to fight. i wanna see him fight Corrales witch would be for the lineal i think since he beat Uchiyama or Berchelt who seems to be arguably the hardest puncher at 130.
