    The worst way to lose?

I'd have to say that getting schooled every round until you quit has to be the most damaging to your career (except for getting seriously damaged which ends your career)

It shows you're not at your opponents level and is probably more damaging than taking a KO in a closer fight because anybody can get knocked out.

It's pretty difficult to make your case when you've been completly outclassed.

Losing clearly over 12 rounds is worse than an early KO for your career/legacy imo.

For example compare Hamad v Barrera to say Lennox v Mccall or Rahman.

Hamad clearly lost a reasonably competitive fight to an ATG but it seriously damaged his legacy.

Whereas Lewis was Koed by pretty average guys and even if he hadn't avenged them they would be put down as just a in a lapse in concentration that can happen in boxing. No one would say either of those guys where better fighters.

By DQ. I don't think any loss looks as f#cking ****** & would have to feel f#cking ****** if you were the guilty party as a intentional DQ loss. That Tyson loss to Holyfield is probably the worst L I've seen in boxing. Its gotta be like 25 different negative emotions going on at once in your head to have that be unfolding in front of you in real time lol.

If someone just scrubs the floor with you in 25 seconds or whatever that'd be 2nd place, but to me that stuff just happens sometimes & it obviously sucks. The intentional DQ loss is worse doe.

Losing The Amair Khan way winning 3 of 4 rounds only to get flattened like a pancake. But actually haven box the worst way is when you are robbed by judges just ask Kovalev. When you lose you lose you admit it like a man, but when you're robbed it make your blood boil because you trained your ass off only to get victory taken away by incompetent or corrupt judging to me was the worst way to lose. As a fan you see it a different way. I'll make an example Floyd on paper is 49 and 0 lets just say fight 50 he got Ko'd his excuse would be this is boxing I got caught by a shot I didn't see. or he wins at least 9 of 12 rounds but the decision goes to the other guy he will be fuming say he won and he should still be undefeated if it was't for these ****** corrupt judges

getting schooled for 12 rounds and missing all your shots badly is far worst on the mind than getting koed

well, probably getting your head smashed in, falling into a coma during the fight/post fight and die from the brain damage is the worse way to lose

I.E. Hopkins vs Pavlik is a great example of this. Kelly was never quite the same after that fight despite not getting knocked out.
