From a business stand point this makes perfect sense too much risk. If he takes a second loss to Salido it would damage his career. Right now Lomachenko looks unstoppable. He better hope karma doesn't catch up with him like Chocalito by not giving rematches it could happen to him. But as a fighter you have to get that revenge because if he makes easy work of Salido in the rematch it'll be seen as a fluke win by Salido in the 1st fight but this makes him look bad. Besides Salido is older and "should" be easier to handle if Loma is improved.

Salido goes to war against guys like Martinez...
Probably loses to Sosa.
Definitely loses to Walters.
Meanwhile, Salido barely pulled off a win in a rigged/bias bout with the favor of the referee [**** him for being the son of the comissioner or whatever) allowing repeated low blows and never any point deductions, came in overweight, and still was in survival mode against a guy with only one professional fight by the final round.
He doesn't need Salido. If he moves up to his 3rd division and fights a guy like Mikey Garcia, wtf cares?Comment
