I've followed this game for a long time. And from what I've observed, in order be successful against bigger foes, a guy has to have something extraordinary in his game that he can lean on. For Floyd, it was his defense. For Manny, it was the ability to carry his speed and power with him throughout the divisions. For Roy Jones, it was his superhuman speed and reflexes for a guy his size. For Sweet Pea, it was his defense and reflexes. And the list goes on and on. And I think Lomachenko's defense and footwork could keep him clean against bigger guys. The only thing that may get Lomachenko in trouble is his temperament. Lomachenko likes to let those hands go in 4,5,6 punch combinations. He would definitely need to cut that back to throwing one or two at a time and then get outta there as moves up the scale. But I think he could have success against bigger guys. He's just that dynamic.

I agree that his feet could be key. He moves beautifully

The only thing that worries me about him is that I don't know how long he can fight like that, and he's already 29. Its a very high energy style. People talk about how skilled he is. But to me, he more of a high energy guy than a super skilled guy.

Crawford is a legit 147 welterweight... fighting against smaller guys than himself currently. Lomachenko is indeed too small for him.

I'm a fan of both. Mikey Garcia is somehow in between, and potentially could fight either guy.

Stop saying Lomachenko is 5'6. He was taller than Walters, which means he is 5'7 1/2 to 5'8.

Stop making up shit. All you do is make up shit and lie. Postol is listed at 5ft 11in. You saying Postol is 6ft 3in??? When they lie on heights in sports it's to make a man seem bigger than what he is, not smaller. SMH

What am I missing? Why is Loma the only one obligated to move up? Ten pounds difference, not to mention the height and reach advantage. Of course it's a mismatch. Why is this even brought up? Another ****** media guy must have asked another ****** question, eh?

Because Loma said he'd like to fight Crawford eventually. I don't expect (or even necessarily want) him to do something crazy like that but he said it, so he and his fans gotta live with the flack if it turns out to be a fake call-out.
