Crawford seemed happy enough to fight Gamboa, who isn't any bigger than Lomachenko.

My argument is that Crawford isn't close to bring as tall as a lot of these folks are claiming. Somebody said he's shorter than Easter. I've stood next to Easter. He's not that tall.Comment

Robert Easter Jr is 5'11" and your eyes probably deceived you. Standing next to 5'8" Luis Cruz, Easter kinda towered over him. Easter Jr vs Commey, who's 5'9", Easter is also visibly taller than him.

That's fair enough, them guys at 140 are huge. Even at 135 he'd probably be at a size disadvantage but he's good enough to deal with it, 140 is just too much.Comment

Gotcha, I agree. Easter is probably 5'10 (but I might be stretching it). Crawford is probably 5'8 or 5'9Comment

At the end of the day, if Lomachenko wants to dare to be great, they should let him. Crawford is naturally bugger than him. But he isn't too big for him. The last era's P4P stars Floyd and Manny spent a lot of time fight guys bigger than them. Roy Jones fought a good portion of his career at light heavy when he probably should have been fighting at super middle. The all-time P4P King Ray Robinson. Arguably his signature performance was a failed attempt at the light heavy title against Joey Maxim. He weighed in at 157 for that fight. The pretty consensus P4P #2 is Hank Armstrong. He's best known for holding the feather, light, and welterweight titles simultaneously. When he first win the welterweight title, he weighed in at 133lbs. So Lomachenko moving up to fight Crawford would be far from unpresidented. Its just a matter of his team having the balls that Loma seems to possess.Comment

Right, which is why I originally stated that he's no more than an inch or two taller than me, and I'm 5'9. Basic mathematics says that's around 5'11. So if he's taller than Crawford, Crawford can't be 6', which is the argument on the table.Comment

I agree with all of this...just don't think he has that type of talent lolAt the end of the day, if Lomachenko wants to dare to be great, they should let him. Crawford is naturally bugger than him. well at least they shut that down he's TOO SMALL **** by the time loma moves to 135 **** crawford might be at 147 campaigning so he'll likely be 3 weight classes above him UNLESS they do a catchweight its never gonna happen. + you can only go up so far in weight until your power & speed and reflexes begin to slow down and become a scintilla slower and get caught with punches from much bigger fighters
let loma do his thangComment
