    Don't see how he would be much more popular unless he was American. He weren't even a beltholder until a couple fights ago.

    If he trash talked more a lot of people saying they don't like his boring personality would say they don't like his arrogance imo.

      It's not about liking him. It's about being interested in a fighter. Being a villain puts seats in bums, but he's neither villain or hero. I find him bland and unassuming. There's no spark. Even when he fights, he plods along until the KO comes. Tyson in his early fight right up until the Mitch Green fight was extremely humble, but he was explosive in the ring and would weave and bob and get stuck into a fighter rather than wait. It was during the Holyfield & Razor fights he went off the rails and turned into a mega baddie, but even then he was still selling tickets. In the end, people come to watch exciting fighters. Like Cus D Amato said it's not enough to be just good you have to be entertaining.
