Yeah Loma is the kind of fighter who has a style and attitude that caters to most fans. l feel the same way about Spence. Unfortunately, some people can't get past the color line.

And I agree, fanboys do get carried away with hype. I'm sure GGG would have a lot less hate if some of his fans weren't calling him an ATG saying he would destroy Hagler, and other outlandish things.

I like how technically excellent he is.

There is a reason why he is mentioned with Floyd and Pernell.

He has such a command of the science that sometimes he looks as if he is competing in a different sport entirely.

I respect that kind of skill.

But, we agree that he is going to have to display it against better opponents.

And, I do understand folks resenting some of those comparisons.

After all, Floyd never lost.

And we won't know if the comparison to Pernell (who had a loss early in his career) will be apt until we get further down the road.

It depends on HOW black Loma was. I mean, if he's a light skinned baby face like Steph Curry or Drake or some sh it, then the honkies would eat it up. But, if he's scary looking like Broner, or real dark like Crawford, they would never have it. Just see how long it is before Crawford gets an HBO fight
