Thank you I hate that as well. if you're gonna say you came up with the same score for both fighters you're basically calling it a draw then. It's simple, either one guy lost and one guy won or it was too close to call so it's a draw. That "it coulda gone to either guy" ***** annoys me.

Umm what? Worse logic than a dog's ******* if you think Ward was clinching. It was almost all Kovy especially early on. That's why he had more success early in the fight.i hear this nonsense narrative but when i watch the fight its ward initiating all the clinches so what are you seeing? ward would wrap his arm aroudn kov first and sometimes kov would respond by clinching him up so ward couldnt hold and hit him. thats not clinching. thats responding to being clinched. please pay more attention.
Clinching gets attributed to Ward because of his past - and he does usually hold a lot - but in this case it was mostly Kov and that's indisputable.
Only wannabe white supremacists feel otherwise. Catch an emotion you PMS kidComment

I thought kov won the 1st time I watched live but I just knew they were gonna give it to ward on the scorecards. Watching it again just recently my opinion hasn't changed. Kov was out boxing him early, dropped him, hurt him, outlanded him throughout the fight. Ward had a hell of a comeback but to me he was digging himself out of a hole. He never at any point dominated kov and even in the end when kov was fading in the end the rounds were toss ups. Ward looked flashier and more relaxed in the second half and Kovalev looked gassed but ward was never able to dominate or able to seriously hurt or even wobble Kovalev at any point. I just couldn't find enough rounds to give ward the win. Hopefully this time around its more clear because I like both guys and it just didn't seem right for Sergey the champion to lose his belt in fight that close. You wanna beat the champ you gotta dominate the champComment

If the rematch will be as Close as the first fight, Kovalev gets the w (rightfully so) and they can fight for a third time. I just hope Kovalev crushes Ward in the rematch to get this over with and Kovalev can move forward with his career.Comment

That's bull****. Kovalev initiated the clinch damn near every time Ward got inside on him, which was smart.i hear this nonsense narrative but when i watch the fight its ward initiating all the clinches so what are you seeing? ward would wrap his arm aroudn kov first and sometimes kov would respond by clinching him up so ward couldnt hold and hit him. thats not clinching. thats responding to being clinched. please pay more attention.Comment

Kovalev didn't outland him throughout the fight. Kovalev landed a total of 10 more punches. But he outlanded Ward by 13 punches in the lopsided second round. Which means Ward actually out landed Kovalev by three punches in the other 11 rounds.I thought kov won the 1st time I watched live but I just knew they were gonna give it to ward on the scorecards. Its easy to score a close fight for both guys. I've done it several times. I've gone and watched a fight from a decade ago, and came away with a different score than I did a decade earlier. Judging fights is very subjective. Most people favor the guy throwing the most punches. Most people favor head shots over body shots. Most people don't factor defense into their scoring at all. Even though its one of the criteria you're supposed to judge on. So yes, its very easy to judge a close fight either way after watching it multiple times. You scored the fight for either guy??? SMH You don't see a problem with that statement? You can say a fight was close, but how can you score it for "either guy"? Are you scoring it twice? I guess you'll never be wrong if you score it for "either guy". This is why "fans" complain about judging. They don't understand it.Comment
