I for one am glad the Canelo fight was scrapped because I got tired of all the whining from GGG, Abel Sanchez and Tom Loeffler. The reality is this fool turned down $15 million dollars because they misjudged their market value. If you know anything, you know that the market is unforgiving.

For those of you who think Alvarez was "scared to fight him, I have two questions: 1) Why did GB offer GGG $15 million to fight and 2) why did GGG not accept the offer right away if he thought Canelo was looking for an excuse not to fight. Like it or not GGG priced himself out. The Jacobs fight revealed his true worth. For the GGG fans, no amount of invective against Canelo or other fighters will change the fact that K2 and GGG botched the negotiations at great financial cost. This is probably the greatest financial miscalculation in boxing history. And it isn't going to get better for GGG. He is on a downhill slide as far as the market is concerned. As for Golovkin's fans, their words reveal what and who they are.

Canelo has never beat a guy like Jacobs, a great boxer with power who also weighs much more, longer, and faster than him.

In fact, It's Canelo putting on extra weight to bully small guys like Khan, Smith, Kirkland, Cotto.

Now he finally fights a guy who will be comparable in weight and he hasn't fought a top ten fighter in half a decade.

And still Canelo needed to drain his ass.

You'd have to be a special kind of ****** to think Cotto, Khan, Smith don't get blasted out by GGG, even at 35.

Trout was Regular Champion same as Jacobs, same as Lara, Mayweather was the Super Champion. Lara only got bumped up to Super Champion when Mayweather retired.
