well, tito never went back down to 160 after he fought joppy, his first fight at 160. you can use that as proof, i suppose. joppy in 2001 was pretty damn good, he held one of the 3 main belts ...

Tito is one of the 2 or 3 biggest p4p punchers in the sport today.

Tito is no middleweght compared to B-hop, but really who has he dropped at 160 that is worth hearing about. I mean Mayorga has a great chin but he is no middleweight.

Tito has enough power to hurt most guys at 160. He'll have trouble if the other guy doesnt stand in and trade like Mayorga did. The real question is can he keep the natural 160 pound guys off of him like he COULDNT do against Hopkins.

Your first & last sentences pretty much contradict each other.

There is not a 160lber who punches like Tito. Hopkins is a better fighter than Trinidad.
Sturm & Taylor are not better fighters than trinidad. He'd KO both of them.
All everyone talks about is how easily Hopkins beat Trinidad. I'd be willing to bet that both Sturm & Taylor do worse against the 2005 version of Hopkins, than Tito did against the 2001 version.

Yes, I saw the fight. Look at the weighins, Cherifi was 160 and Tito was 158, if I remember correctly. I have the fight at home and can verify these for you if you'd like.
