Lara said this when they were in the same gym but Jermell left and Lara said he would face him. Like I told the other dude, keep up, kid.

Erislandy Lara would love to fight Gennady Golovkin or secure a rematch with Canelo Alvarez. The odds of Lara landing either of those fights seem slim, though, because Golovkin and Alvarez already have pay-per-view fights scheduled for March 18 and May 6, respectively, and supposedly are on a collision course. That’ll likely leave Lara to fight other 154-pound champions.

Not deontay, Lara has been a top contender at 154 for at least 5 years he fought and lost (although I genuinely had a draw) to canelo, and hasn't fought the cream of the crop since. He could have fought either Charlo but hasn't for years. We excuse that but the day a new champ arises all of a sudden he is chomping at the bit. Fact of the matter is he just won his belt and sanctioning body usually lets champ fight an optional first defense before mandatory. Harrison was a mandatory. I don't want him to sit on it forever but he's young, first time champ and hasn't fought before home fans or headlined his own card yet. He hasn't had a chance to build his brand.

Yes he did and beat him up in the process. The three judges got suspend for life, that is how bad of a robbery it was...

I said last year. He only mentioned him after they were negotiating with Hatley.

Why did Andrade say he wasn't interested in fighting Lara?

Demetrius Andrade: Lara a Last Resort, I’d Fight Jack Culcay - See more at: http://www.boxingscene.com/demetrius-andrade-lara-last-resort-id-fight-jack-culcay--106350#sthash.NxGH2kaY.dpuf

Lara also didn't call out Liam Smith when he had a belt. Does that mean he didn't want to unify? He knew that fight would be damn near impossible to make. Lara also used to have the same trainer as Jermell. Maybe he knows that's not a fight Jermell is interested in. But he had no history with Hurd and see an opportunity to unify without politics being involved.

You Andrade fans need to start putting the blame on him. He's the cause of him not being able to get a fight. If he would've fought Culcay months ago when the fight was originally supposed to take place, the Lara fight would've been made before Hurd got a belt.

I hope you aren't trying to insinuate Lara is ducking or afraid of Andrade. Call Lara boring and a runner but one thing you can't say about Lara is he's afraid to fight anybody.

This isn't new. He made himself into a ho for canelo chasing him around almost as bad as Briggs did klit. If he wanted a fight that bad he could have called him out like that, he could be calling him out still today. As I said fighters are talking too much to the media and not backing up their words. Shout out to Andre Ward who is. But Lara is chasing the low hanging fruit when it's new champs in his own gym he hasn't fought. First things first. Andrade has also been calling him out for a minute, second things second. Then we get to your opportunist ass trying to get over on the system.

So, last year when they still had the SAME trainer, is that what you mean?

This article was posted in January and the Hatley fight wasn't announced till February as far as Im concerned.

Not a huge Andrade fan, just find it funny that Lara called him out four months ago but now had a change of heart.

Dude, you're the one on here talking about Hurd needs to enjoy his time being a champ but turn around and bash Lara for not fighting someone who he shares TRAINER with. You're comical.

And now you wanna talk about Andrade calling out Lara, the same Andrade that priced himself out of the fight? The one who avoided the fight TWICE?
