Do you think Sergio was clean?

It wouldn't surprise me if he was doping for the longest time. What better way to cover your tracks than to start a clean fighting campaign with an agency that is clearly corrupt and incompetent. USADA is a joke, allowing him an exception three weeks after he broke the rules and cheated with an illegal IV. Besides, no fighter of his caliber and experience dehydrates that close to the biggest fight of his career. Especially if he walks around close to his fighting weight as he claims.Comment

I have given up trying to figure out who is/was clean or not. Its too hard.
I just rely on official results and testing. As long as a boxer isn't officially juiced, I accept them as clean.Comment

I'll take it a step further, I think he built his physique up because he is gay. I don't say that to bash him at all. I just think he prefers men (based on mannerisms, private personal life, absence of women, his "roomate", etc) and gay men tend to be more body-conscious.Comment

no and no. The guy was a work out machine. His Cotto fight had nothing to show besides the fact he lost a step. And honestly had bad knees. Although I think Cotto would have given Sergio problems if they met in his prime especially because the first solid shot Cotto landed was very clean and had nothing to do with his knees.
People just like fishing for controversy, the guy was a bike rat, abs get defined very well for guys like that.Comment
