I believe what Hopkins was trying to say was Jr seemed to be disinterested in boxing for quite awhile... way before the Fonfara fight. The fact that he couldn't even get motivated to win a bet kinda confirms his su****ions. It was a ****** bet anyway.

As far as people saying Hopkins quit during the Dawson fight. The way he was tackled and fell, he was right not to continue. There was no way of telling the extent of the injury and he would've risked losing the fight because of it. He might have acted a bit but he did the right thing.

I like Bernard but he's got absolutely no room to talk, calling Chavez a quitter. He must've forgot that Chad Dawson changed his last name to Flopkins. It's one thing to get beaten as Chavez did against Fonfara and another to BS your way out of a fight like he did against Chad. Now THAT was a quitter.

Great observation. He used his shoulder as an excuse to quit when he knew he couldn't beat Dawson. He almost quit versus Jones in the rematch with that acting performance after the rabbit punch that was a mere love-tap--acting like he got shot in the back of the head trying to end the fight early by drawing a DQ. Guy is a disgrace to boxing.

Bhop is a legend no doubt but he should not talk too much besides Dawson I and trying to say he got pushed by Smith Jr, his 2nd fight with Roy Jones Jr was horrible and there was so much whining by Bernard it was hard to watch. Either way both Canelo and Chavez look to be in good shape I think its gonna be a good fight we will see how Julio looks at the weigh in though.

Even though I think Chavez will lose it's ****** to bet your purse why would you leave your purse to incompetent or corrupt judging just look at The Kovalev , Ward decision or Madaina being robbed against Floyd or Castillo

Can't forget his performance in the Calzaghe fight, faking intense pain and low blows in the 10th and 11th rounds trying to draw a foul or DQ and buying lots of time to "recover". Then had the nerve to discredit Calzaghe after the fight.
