A boxer of Canelo's status will never allow a belt to determine his mandatory opponent and how the money is split. Golovkin would have made millions more than he deserves if Canelo/GB would have accepted his mandatory status. No way in hell would Canelo, or any boxer in Canelo's position, agree to a 55/45 split with a boxer in Golovkin's position. That would be foolish.

I agree, I think most Mexicans (tiano Indians of Aztec/Inca descent) are with Chavez Jr. Thing is Canelo is not a REAL Mexican, meaning his Father is not of Tiano descent but of Spanish descent. Spain[conquistadors ] colonized[Mexico] the Tiano Indians after conquering them in 1492.

Everyone in Mexico knows this History, the Conquistadors taught the tiano Indians Spanish. Canelo is a Spaniard, a Conquistador and Chavez Jr is a Mexican, or Tiano Indian.

That's ******. Both Chavez Jr. and Canelo are evidently white Caucasians, at least 90% of their genes is. They are most likely direct descendant from Spaniards born in Mexico. 15-20% of the Mexican population is like that (90% or more White Caucasian in their genes), but since these kinds of people rarely go to the US illegally to stay and live, most American people --and probably other people in utter ignorance of reality, such as Canadians, Europeans, etc.-- seem to think Mexicans are "brown" 100%, either mixed race (Spanish and Amerindian) or purely Amerindian. Which is ridiculous.

For God sakes, look at Chavez Jr's skin color, height, facial structure, bone structure, he has 0% "Indian" in his genes, he has blackish hair, most white Caucasians do as well, they are either black-haired or dark brown-haired in their majority. Being redhead doesn't make Canelo "more white" than Chavez Jr. it just makes him look like an Irish guy, that's all. And FYI, there are many redheads in Mexico, but they are of course rare as anywhere else. And there are blonde people as well, 100% Mexicans too. But these people rarely become boxers, like almost anywhere else, since in Mexico as well, the whiter a person is, the more financially successful they are in general. You see this discrimination and racism at the workplaces. And even in government. Whites go to expensive private schools mostly. Mixed-race people mostly get educated at public schools and universities. White Mexican Caucasians don't have to leave the country and become illegals in the US or elsewhere.
