It's like an endless cycle with Khan.

He says he's gonna prove everyone wrong, only to get his ass kicked and prove everyone right. Then he'll beg for another big fight he doesn't deserve, rinse and repeat.

Khan has spent the last 5 years looking for the Pac/Mayweather payday. I actually hope he doesn't get it - nothing personal, more that it rewards not taking legit fights along the way to keep his place in line.

He's known all along that any loss at 147 would end his shot at the payday, so he's not taken risks. Canelo was a one-off as it was out-of-weight, so he could happily go get koed in that one and not lose his place in line.

That's why he demanded 70% with Brook as the winner would get the Pac lottery ticket he's been carrying for the last few years.

The problem with Khan is that he's been effectively retired, looking for his pay-ticket out of boxing for 5 years now. He has to keep up the big talk to maintain himself as a credible opponent for Pac, but after 5 years it starts to wear a bit thin, so we're left hearing every angle in the book being thrown out as to why the fight isn't happening: 'they are avoiding me', 'I'm too fast, too dangerous' and all the other claptrap to keep himself looking like a legit opponent.

Move on Pac- let him be hung by his own petard.
