Hopkins has completely lost his mind if he thinks Chavez has more pressure to win. Chavez has nothing to lose, while Canelo stands to lose a lot more if he doesn't win. Talks with GGG will come to a complete halt if he loses, and his stock and negotiating leverage plummets.

pure nonsense. there is zero pressure on chavez. if he manages to lose in a competitive fight he'll get all the credit in the world. this is a showcase fight for canelo. chavez is a punching bag and canelo has to look amazing destroying him.

So the consensus is Hopkins is talking nonsense. There is no pressure on either side. Even if Canelo loses he can still make a fight between him and Golovkin. The only pressure on Chavez is maybe staying off the weed for the training camp.

If Chavez Jr. can make weight without starving, this should be a competitive fight! I can't remember seeing Canelo "pressured" in a fight.

Bet it's in the rematch clause.

Chavez doesn't need to stop at all. He's got a prescription for his ingrown toenail.

                  Nah, B-Hop. You're clutching here.

Don't take an obvious answer and try to screw with it.
