Wouldn't say booker is corporatist, New Jersey just has a lot of jobs in pharmacy. I think federal policy will eventually allow for more generic drugs to be passed by ada at lower price points

He's putting profits before people's health that's technically a corporatist. If Bernies bill had passed we would of been able to buy cheaper drugs from Canada which would of lowered cost here forcing competition and have it where we can negotiate. Now we can't thanks too Booker and the 12 other dems who went against Bernie.

But people's health isn't just influenced by drugs it's also jobs and the economy. If you take drugs from jersey, big pharm may move to India thus slashing jobs in the state. I don't think he cared about the bottom line so much as the manufacturing of drugs in his state.
