I agree, and also think that even those that thought Kovalev won the first fight (incidently I did too!) should give Ward credit for doing so.

To win the rematch Kovalev just has to be better in all aspects, particularly conditioning.

He's been looked at as a cheater as a dirty fighter because of his tactics. I don't know you or your background, but the same tactics people complained about with froch they applaud with kov

First off, if you dont think Ward was chetaing with those tactics, why does it concern you that Kov was holding?
You should be labelling him a boxing genius.

I think ward is viewed as having one of the best inside games in the sport. I think kov was holding so the ref could break them up. There is a fundamental difference.

The difference is Kov negated anything Ward could do on the inside, in particular word ducking under and trying to bring his head up so Kov just handled him. Perfectly within the confines of the sport.

Again, like I said, if you're not against Ward clinching, elbowing etc than none of what KOv said should be a concern to you.

Hopefully, there will be more stringent refereeing this time around. If so, Kova has a good chance of winning by KO.

Again, like I said, kov just held to stop ward from fighting. Ward gets inside and does his best fighting. THESE ARE FUNDAMENTALLY DIFFERENT CONCEPTS.

yea look at that inside fighting. holding and then hitting. illegal. inside fighting is what loma did to sosa not clinchy mcward over here with his grab your opponent behind the back and then hit him with your free hand.

You sound silly and your deflection game is weak. If lomas inside game is so good let him fight Ward, if not leave him out of the ****ing conversation. Kov has no inside game Ward does, kov negated wards inside game by holding.

He has to not press for the KO from round 1, but still overwhelm Ward, it's gonna be a great fight, again.
