Ref will do a 20 count if ward gets floored , plus a extra break to get his wind back judges award fights for surviving according to ward stans.
Kovalev Has to Make More of a Statement This Time

you know who's really shown that mentality in his last 2 or 3 fights? Loma, a guy who doesnt even hit all that hard but he throws and throws punches in the bid to hurt his opponent.Comment

I disagree with your point about Kovalev having a better inside game than Ward. Kovalev displayed a Soviet style master class at range early on in the fight. Ward could not 'out box' Kovalev & was getting caught by stiff jabs and straight rights. Kovalev beat Ward to the punch as Ward tried to counter his pawing Jab hence the KD. All from range and not the pocket.well, the way judging is these days, I agree but also, Kov knows that Ward has nothing in his arsenal to hurt him.
Kovs game at range, up close and the power are all superior to Ward and it's not even that close in any of those departments.
Before the first fight I thought Ward's inside game and strength would win him the fight but he was out muscled and out wrestled.
Kov just needs go pummel him, he'll stop Ward in 6 if he does that
Everytime Ward tried to get inside early on Kovalev initiated the clinch. He didn't throw any punches before he initiated the clinch, neither did he throw any punches coming out of a clinch.
IMO Kovalev needs to keep it at range and throw in a few spiteful bodyshots. If he can do that then he could potentially stop Ward. If it goes 12 again I can see it going to Ward, providing he avoids a KD this time.Comment

When I say kov was better on the inside I mean he negated ward completely.I disagree with your point about Kovalev having a better inside game than Ward. Wards win Are based on him out muscling opponents on the inside. Pressing his forearm, head, elbows into his opponents face, he couldn't do that at all.
Kov was the bully on the inside. Its due to his Greco-Roman style wrestling training which I had no idea he took part in.Comment

Where do these numbers come from? You sound silly.Kovalev has to win by knockout. The last fight showed that even judges are biased to color.
Black is viewed as - slick, boxing, tactics,
White skin is viewed as - robotic, power, non defensive and no tactics
All this meaning , kovalev doesnt get credit for boxing , he doesnt get credit for subtlety landing rt uppercuts or rt hooks inside
The judges werent ever gonna give kovalev the well earned victory. Over 85% of viewers had kovalev winning 7-5 plus the knockdown .
5% had kovalev 6-6 winning by a knockdown
8% had ward winning 7-5
2% had a draw Somehow.
Fact is the judges wouldnt have had kovalev win even with another knockdown .
Boxing is corrupt
Imo boxing has become pro black , and the none black fighter has to do more to win unless you are canelo . I think the demographic changed with social media and mayweather being the top black fighter and having bandwagon fans. They are catering to the black population to keep them interested in boxing . Most the white demographic is into mma.Comment

So every fight prior to this one ward was a cheater because he held on the inside, but this fight when kov does it to neutralize wards inside game it's a masterful strategy? LolWhen I say kov was better on the inside I mean he negated ward completely.
