Oscar Dela Hoya was at his prime best against Pacquiao? Shane Mosley too? Wow that's news to me.

So if the fight doesn't happen, it'll be because of Mannys demands. You can't fault Crawford for wanting that fight though.

When Postol schooled Matthysse, he was "a beast!" When he gets schooled by TC, "he's nobody." For some reason Crawford and Mikey Garcia can't get the same love that GGG and Loma get, and it's ****ing ridiculous!
Not saying you're wrong, man. Mikey and Bud are both excellent fighters, but instead of simply complaining that they don't get enough love, why not go start some appreciation threads or something? If some of the guys who post non-stop about how poor Golovkin's level of opposition is dedicated that same energy to bigging up the fighters they actually like the forum would be a much better place to be IMO.

Same people who criticised Tean GGG for saying 154-168 and not proving it are now saying that Crawford is just fine at 140. Lets face it, he's a 2 weight champion but he was huge at 135 so his weight on fight night was a considerable factor. Right now he is where he is supposed to be but he hasn't done enough to state he is no.2 p4p - if you want to shout that out then better seek a challenge like Ward did.
You answered your own question/dilemma. GGG said 154 to 168, Crawford said no such thing/or similar, so why would we give them the same criticism?

Also GGG's problems are far bigger than just the 154-168 lie. He has another lie, you know, the "I'm not a business man" lie, yet he is pricing himself out of fights.

He also criticised the canelo catchweight and refused to meet it, but demanded one for Ward. Now I know Canelo is a puss, but GGG has no right to look down on anyone because his story is full of gaping holes.

I always give love to fighters I like. I just don't like double-standards, i.e. Crawford needs to move up to prove he's great, but GGG doesn't, or Loma is #1 because he beat Roman Martinez and Walters, yet Mikey beat Martinez 3 years ago, and he beat Salido 3 years ago.

Yes, a lot of fighters do it, but eventually you have to settle into a weight. When that happens you are either stuck in a weight class with no money fights or you are in a very deep division with dangerous opposition. You can get away with it for a few years, but Mikey is running out of room to maneuver. No big money fights at 135 unless Loma moves up, and a move to 140 means he gives up his size advantage and the only money there is Broner and Crawford.

Crawford moving up to 147 is going to be facing deep threats with Thurman, Brook, Spence, Pac, Garcia, Porter, no easy route to the big money he feels he is entitled to.
