Why are Kova fans now angry the rematch is a go?

It is pretty strange. With all the hostility, you'd think that he didn't sign. Proves that some people have just decided that they hate the guy even if he does what they want him to do. I don't expect him to get praise for signing, but why the extra anger?

Spare me the technicality. If there was no rematch clause you would still be crying and continue to say Ward is ducking Kovalev like they did with Floyd and before drew up a contract to fight Kovalev for the first fight. Floyd didn't have a rematch clause with Pac and Floyd is being called a coward for not doing a rematch that is actually not his fault in it not happening. So its all the same. Which kovalev fans are mad about the fight? We know our fighter won the first fight,but got screwed on the cards. We've been dying for the rematch to happen,so kovalev can set the record straight and get his belts back. Literally,it was ward who was threatening to retire despite being contractually obligated to give kovalev the rematch. All I'm seeing is ward fans being angry because kovalevs fans aren't congratulating dre for something he was legally obligated to do. If anything,we're mad that this fight didn't get signed sooner.

Made sense to you. You telling me Ward wouldn't had gotten hate if there was no rematch clause? Really? Please you know very well it wouldn't had matter wether there was a rematch clause or not. Those complaining would had complained either way.
