It ain't over yet. He signed but HE WILL pull out with an injury doe.
Not everybody else. I think you mean the Eastern Euro bandwagoners. They don't count as "everybody." They are merely a bug splat on your windshield.Last edited by .:: JSFD26 ::.; 04-04-2017, 01:12 PM.Comment

Bro, all of this doesn't matter in this case because Ward signed the rematch clause.
On NSB, truth is usually somewhere in the middle of an argument but in this case Ward and his defenders were in the wrong, it really is that simple.
It's good that Ward has finally (allegedly) signed the contract but it doesn't erase his past comments and actions (or maybe the lack of them).
Again, negotiating posturing is made too big a deal by some on NSB. Ward clearly seemed to be using the threat of retirement as negotiating leverage. Yes he needed to honr the rematch clause but the Kov boys got all pissed off because they weren't getting what they wanted when they wanted it.
Had they applied the same reasoned logic they do when discussing other topics (anyone from 154-168 comes to mind) this wouldn't be such a big deal.Comment

Well, great news if true. As for the P4P business (even though I think P4P's a load of penguin pellets) the one I personally find the most reputable - the TBRB - has them at #1 and #2 already (not that I necessarily agree), as does the Ring so well, yeah, I would imagine so.Comment

I don't have Kovalev number 1 PFP and Ward is not even in my top 5 PFP. I rank Ward PFP on how well he is fighting now not how well he fought many years ago in the super six tournament. I thought Kovalev clearly beat Ward. I doubt I will make the Ward-Kovalev winner number 1 PFP. I will have to see how good the winner looks before I know where to place him. I can place him just on winning the fight. I am glad the rematch is made and I pick Kovalev to win convincingly.Comment
