I like how Diaz performed in the Peterson fight. Lamont is what I call an energy drainer. His swarming style annoys the hell out of his opponents. (Watch the Khan fight.) Diaz was able to keep up and at times he's trying to give back Peterson a dose of his own medicine. It was a close fight.

Don't take it so personally dude.
Just look at the threads before Diaz fought Vasquez or the threads were Diaz said he was being avoided, people there always write him off, but i don't need to say names because first, i don't recognize many users here to actually point at someone and say, yeah it was him and second, because I don't care, I'm just saying that people are always underestimating Diaz and if he losses, people will call him a bum because a lot of people here can't accept a fighter with losses and that's a fact and also that people would like to hate on him just to discredit Crawford like the guy in this thread said that Postol wasn't a top guy even when he was the clear #2 in 140 before facing Crawford.
I'm not saying that Diaz will win, but i wouldn't be surprised if he does.

The Vastine fight wasn't even close. Clear robbery.

The Joyce fight wasn't a robbery but they sure hurt Vastine (R.I.P.), but it wasn't Diaz fault and he redeemed himself by beating the defending champion and sure he put a beating on him.

It isn't a small percentage the people here that can't have a real boxing conversation without discrediting a fighter's accomplishments, sure there are people that you can talk to and the fact that you are answering me with valid points it's a good example, but with a look at the threads you can see how toxic this place can be and i just want to let people now that Diaz is far from a bum.

I thought Joyce beat him to be honest. I will need to revisit that fight I guess.
The defending Olympic Champion was lucky to be there himself.
In my opinion the two finalist were not supposed to be there as they both got gift decisions in the earlier rounds of the Olympics.

Crawford too much skills for Diaz. Glad to see Al Haymon boxers fight in HBO. I wished it was the other way around too. But I guess HBO fighters have contracts.
