Huh? BHop is part owner of GBP...so he's just his own guy. Dunno wtf you on about.

Also, having Danny J win is very fair considering most fans had it 50/50. So much for that Triple Gift hype and that 8:1 betting odds

75% of people had Triple Gift winning by KO on these very boards...and the fight wound up being a controversial decision. So your "opinion" is no more valuable than those 8:1 betting odds Jacobs was getting

Obviously he didn't set up the blueprint because he lost. Hopkins is another bitter diva who can't stand that he is no longer relevant.

Let's use common sense people. BHOP is simply saying that he felt the result should have been at least a split decision for Jacobs, recognizing that 3 judges may see certain rounds differently.

As for the blueprint to beat Golovkin, Willie Monroe actually unveiled it, he just didn't have enough pop to follow through. Control distance...negated the jab and the power hooks by getting in close. Go to the body. Side step out out of range, don't back straight up. Throw combinations when you counter. Take advantage of the resets Golovkin does after getting hit in an exchange.

Not at all easy...but Jacobs did it.

Yeah but there are only a couple of fighters that can emulate that gameplan against Golovkin and Canelo isn't one of them. Not saying Canelo can't win the fight, because he can, but it would look very different from what Jacobs did.

I guess, Hopkins has SPD (not to confuse with STD ))))

Yep, it's all about the attributes. And Canelo doesn't have them. He'd have to do it a totally different way.

Hopkins is just a boxing promoter promoting his boxer, no big deal.

Even if someone can do what Jacobs could do but better, Canelo is entirely the wrong person to try and emulate Jacobs style.
If Jacobs set out any kind of blueprint, it was a blue print for a bridge, and all Canelo does is pave streets.

Can't exactly agree with BHop on this one.Canelo is going to have to chart a different game plan if he fights Golovkin. He is not as tall or long as Jacobs and does not have the same movement, but he can learn from that fight and adopt some strategies that better suit his strengths and style.
