Maybe I should've got more deep on the attributes but that's what I was thinking, that's why I put very good defense Alvarez has sick upper body movement.

Agree with the part that Jacobs foot work ****'s on Canelo's but Canelo has slick and smooth upperbody movement.

this is the dumbest point that i keep hearing.

Is Canelo's upperbody movement better than Broners? No.

The point is, it doesn't matter how good your upperbody movement is when you have no footspeed. And your opponent goes to the body.

Which is why Maidana beat Broner 10/10 times. Broner arguably lost against the last can he fought too. Dude had him on the ropes eating shots to the body.

Canelo does not have the footwork nor range to avoid the body attack.

        he's a sitting target.

Upperbody movement is only good to evade HEAD SHOTS

Being honest Canelo's upperbody movement is 10 times better than Broner's just watch that video, A good and slick upper body movement won't take off all the body shots but it certainly can nullify a lot of them, the living proof is Mayweather.

Now I'm not saying by any means or by the smallest stretch that Canelo has the upperbody movement or defense Floyd had, that would be a blasphemy to boxing but when you know how to do it and you have good+counter abilities your opponent won't go a lot to your body.

Why? Because when you are a good counterpuncher (Floyd, Marquez, Crawford, Jacobs, Canelo)
your opponent will think twice before letting their guard fall down while attacking the body exposing themselves to nasty head counters (GGG vs Jacobs)

My point is I agree with you to a certain extent but when you got more tools like a nice upper body defense plus good counter skills, no one will go full body.

This is just what I've seen with slick bob and weave type of guys plus good counters skillz.

canelo's upperbody movement is nowhere near Broners. it's just that Broner decided to fight bigger guys sooner than Canelo. but that doesn't matter because upperbody movement is only to pivot the head. you can't move your body without your legs.

Canelo was on the ropes eating flush shots from Liam SMith. flush. consistent punishment.

If that had been a legit 160er with actual fight ending power, he would be done in the first half of the fight.

the thing about canelo's upperbody movement is that he gets hit a lot. watch the liam smith fight. he's getting hit flush while rope a doping it was hilarious. his movement is very slow and herky jerky.

it's cus Liam Smith has no punching power and Canelo has a pretty solid chin.

Gotta love golden boy. Oscar said he "gave Canelo the blueprint for how to beat Mayweather." Kept saying it over and over in interviews. Neither side should even be able to talk about his fight again until something is signed.

Haha I was thinking the same thing however I don't know why so much criticism on GGG. Even though he wasn't dominant like he was in his previous fights however he still did enough to win on points against the #2 middleweight in the world and not a hand-picked opponent unlike Canelo. If GGG vs Canelo falls through for Sept. How about Canelo vs Jacobs on Sept and let's see if Canelo can do better....
