No fighter possesses all of those skills but, some do utilize a lot of those intricacies. Floyd has probably shown the most varied amount of skills. Even more than I realized when I actually sat down and watch film studies of him

1) Don't lump Golovkin in with his fans. He's a badass world-champion. Many of the trolls here that try to represent him are absolute shyt-heels. I think he'd be embarrassed if he saw the people carrying his banner on here.

2) You don't notice because you really aren't looking for it. You're looking for posts about Golovkin that you can attack. If you want me to tag your name every time I criticize Ward (like his social media approach to the Kov rematch, which I've criticized multiple times) I'll do that for you.


Truthfully, I rarely even criticize Golovkin. I criticize the unreasonable things many of his extreme fans say, but I actually view him pretty favorably right now and think it's an exciting time to be a Golovkin fan because he just fought a decent fighter and it looks like there's some more good fights on the horizon.

Maybe I missed comments from you criticising Ward. I don't get into every anti-Ward thread that gets started here, looking for a chance to shit on him, the way some people do with GGG.

Things are indeed starting to happen now for Golovkin. I just hope it isn't all happening too late.

BJS was brutally frank and open about waiting for GGG to hit 35 before daring to fight him.

I wish Oscar would show that same kind of honesty, instead of doing what he's been doing since Canelo beat Cotto .. stalling and, at the same time, running a PR campaign designed to convince gullible casual fans that Golovkin is the one who doesn't want to fight Canelo, not the other way round.

If it happens, GGG vs BJS, for all the marbles, will be a huge, historic fight - in "the rest of the world" if not in the USA. As a Golovkin fan, and a Brit, I can't lose with that one, whatever the outcome
