Canelo's skill level isn't anything to write home about.

It's not like he's taking out all the biggest and baddest of his division.

    On the contrary...

Of all the guys at 154 he chooses Liam Smith...

Say what you want about Jr....he can step with you on the way out,and catch you with right hands and bodyshots.

And was not ranked higher or more dangerous then any of the guys I named at the time he fought them? Dude nobody can take you serous after that. chavez is using drugs to get down in weight, and drugs to get back to what's probably going to be 185-190 lbs on fight night. he's goign to look like a dead body when he weighs in. i really don't think he can make the weight.

Eh, I'm not saying Canelo is THAT good, but Chavez Jr is definitely THAT bad. I don't rate him whatsoever.

              Fonfara ain't a top 3 LHW but he definitely a top 10.

Canelo is no Fonfara by any means.

He's really a mess as a fighter...that's the reason he's so carefully matched.
So now Bundrage was better than Lara, Trout or Cotto.......................OMG.

But you know more than the Mayweathers, Spence, Davis and other great fighters and trainers.

You think Canelo is such a bum but that people think he is a hell of a fighter, have a nice day.

That alone lets you know what kind of a boxing fan that dude is, I usually give the benefit of the doubt to everyone I disagreed with but some levels are beyond reality.

If Chavez comes healthy then this is a fight he could win. It's not really by a long shot(that he comes healthy), if you have guys like memo helpin ya, and if you know this is the chance to revive your ruined career. If Chavez can eat Canelas punches like cupcakes, then he can take the fight to him and pressure him non-stop. Mid section is obviously the concern though. Canela also doesn't have the footspeed of maravilla to escape.

Overall, obviously Canelo is the better and far more technical fighter compare to Chavez jr, and has somehow proven himself against top competitions.

But hopefully on this one, the physical advantages, the style and the hunger of chavez jr will win.

                      Rooting for the underdog.
