For someone of Jr's skill level he is an insurmountable opponent.

The time to start taking this shyt seriously was back when he was moving furniture around in his mansion to train for Maravilla instead getting off his lazy ass and going to the gym with Roach.

There is a reason 5'7 Canelo won't go near anybody dangerous at 154.

He didn't even go near K-9 when Bundrage had a title.

He already beat 4 of the currently top 10 ranked 154lbers in the world today, lara, cotto, trout, smith. ..but he's afraid of 50 year old bundrage who isn't on any top 154 lists? And was not ranked higher or more dangerous then any of the guys I named at the time he fought them? Dude nobody can take you serous after that. So Fonfara is a bum? give the dude some respect, he sent Stevenson to the canvas, gave Cleverly a hell of a fight, sent Jr to the canvas for the first time on his career.

Fonfara ain't a top 3 LHW but he definitely a top 10.

Canelo is no Fonfara by any means.

That alone lets you know what kind of a boxing fan that dude is, I usually give the benefit of the doubt to everyone I disagreed with but some levels are beyond reality.

If Chavez comes healthy then this is a fight he could win. It's not really by a long shot(that he comes healthy), if you have guys like memo helpin ya, and if you know this is the chance to revive your ruined career. If Chavez can eat Canelas punches like cupcakes, then he can take the fight to him and pressure him non-stop. Mid section is obviously the concern though. Canela also doesn't have the footspeed of maravilla to escape.

Overall, obviously Canelo is the better and far more technical fighter compare to Chavez jr, and has somehow proven himself against top competitions.

But hopefully on this one, the physical advantages, the style and the hunger of chavez jr will win.
