Idiots blaming Arum. It's all Manny doing the choosing and using Arum to take the blame on taking easy fights. Manny has no intention on fighting anyone relevant. I blame Manny's idiotic fan base for supporting him into fighting weak competition.

Yup, Bob Arum always keeping it in house. I saw some video on Horn the other day. The guy fights aggressive but it's amateurish, he's a novice. Wide open, no defense. SMHComment

look I like both mayweather and cotto, pac not so much, but mayweather fighting McGregor doesn't give boxing any long term Benefit. It gives mayweather an easy pay day. If they're going to retire then just do so but if not, fight somebody that can at least benefit the future of boxing. I can't stand Oscar delaHoya but towards the end of his career he gave both mayweather and Pacquiao the chance to prove their greatness. They beat him and went on to be much bigger stars than they were prior to that. Mosley did a similar thing when he faced cotto. Now cotto to an extent did that fairly recently when he faced Canelo but mayweather ending his career on berto and now maybe coming back for McGregor is wack. Pac is even worse because at least mayweather has the pay day to justify his easy fight, pac will make less money to fight a less credible opponent while mayweather will likely make more money to fight an easy opponent. Either way, these fights do boxing no good.Comment

This is why they fighting a Horn level guy to get that KO and be well paid for it, Manny been milking the system for awhile now and his fans swallow it all like its their last feed, good luck to him if he can get away with it but its only his fans that are fooled.Comment

BUT, I think the reason he went ahead and signed to accept, is cause I remember Horn and his people saying how "the money was already all there, and guaranteed."
Whereas other plans the money would have had to been hashed over, and there'd just have been no time to properly get a fight ready before June/July, so he could fight again in November/December.
Think it just came down to a matter of convenience - all the money already being guaranteed, and venues already set up, etc.Comment

Not trying to give Pac too much slack, cause he could have took a different route and not have it been so last-minute like this, forcing him to take this fight, if he wants to get in two fights this year.
