I definitely agree. Arum may try for free TV. But I believe you need over 6 months or more to plan that with network tv broadcasting. Remember when Floyd tried to get the Berto fight on free TV but was told he needed a lot more time to do that because the networks plan well in advance with their programming. So yeah, looks like another Top Rank independent PPV.

This is why boxing has a struggling fan base. Pac wants to fight a guy that nobody's heard of in horn. Mayweather wants to fight a guy who's never had a pro boxing fight in McGregor. Cotto wants to fight a punch drunk simpleton in Rios and Canelo hasn't fought a top fighter in their Prime in 3 years. If pac, mayweather and cotto want to fight on, they should give some young lions like Crawford, Thurman, Spence, brook a shot. Canelo should be fighting guys like ggg, Charlo, Jacobs etc. Until these types of fights happen, boxing will continue to lose fans.

This ain't got nothing to do with Mayweather or Cotto. This is all Manny Pacquiao. Floyd is flying around the world teaching boxing and has the biggest names in mma talking boxing. That whole McGregor talk is doing nothing but gaining boxing more fans.
