That's good, but he should have plan B just in case Spence's chin holds up.

Fans will see a great fight no matter how it turns out. I just think Brook is a couple notches above Spence at this point. Could be proven wrong, but IMO Brook just has too much experience, slick, fast, punches from strange angles... everything he needs. Spence will likely be champ at some point, just not on his first try.

I'm wondering how coming back down in weight will affect him. I always worry about fighters that do that

I'm sure Brooks team are professional enough to understand that gunhoe plan may not work and will he even try it anyway with this heavy handed kid?
I'm ringside and promise to take a water pistol if Kell needs me! I got this thought that Kell will be too relentless for him and put the brakes on him around 7.

It will be his worst mistake if he fights Spence the way he fought ggg, Spence is a technition that will break you down and then knock you out.

Good post and I agree with much of that. It'll be a great fight, and I also think Brook is a step above Spence right now, particularly in the footwork dept. Every time I lean toward Brook though, I can't help but wonder about that eye, the state of mind he'll be in after that defeat, and the weight issue, especially having not fought at 147 in over a year. I get this feeling that, after it's over, we're all going to look back and say, "Of course he wasn't going to win with that eye, weight, etc."

Then there's Spence's confidence. He really seems like a guy who won't be denied. Very intriguing fight. Just based on talent and experience, Brook should win this but the intangibles are what really make this a toss-up for me.

I think Brook forgets how beaten he looked in the first Jones fight.

I believe all the pressure is on brook and Spence is playing with house money. Brook is fighting in front of his home crowd, he hasn't had a tune up fight to see how his orbital bone will hold up, he's coming off a brutal loss in front of his home crowd the last time out and going back down in weight in one swoop. And he's taking on a strong Mando. Whereas Spence he's young enough to one day get another title shot and his manager always seem to put his fighters in title fights or big fights when they don't necessarily deserve it. Either way I'm very interested in seeing what happens.

Have you watched Spence fight? Comments like yours are coming from Brits only. I can't fault you for that. You gotta support your comrade.
That said, please stick around so we can discuss the annihilation of Brooks. And I do like Brooks. Spence is faster and slicker than Brooks and fights Southpaw stance. Brooks will get embarrassed.

Kell should have stopped Porter if he had all that skill and power.
