He's also not very good in a phone booth. And he surprisingly isn't very good when guys move laterally in both directions. Jacobs was able to have more success than Monroe and Brook because he had the power to keep GGG honest. Canelo doesn't have the foot speed of Jacobs. But he can be pretty good at slipping punches on the inside. He's a better defensive fighter than GGG. He also has a handspeed advantage over GGG. The key is gonna be can Canelo hurt GGG. If he can, GGG is probably gonna be in trouble. Because GGG is slow and robotic as hell. So Canelo is gonna be able to counter him. If GGG is reluctant to throw the way he was against Jacobs at times. Canelo's gonna touch him up.
The real test will be to see where canelos at vs Jr. If he kos jr or beats him on points by a landslide,I will say he destroys ggg, because he just needs to be tested vs a giant,if he handles jrs power & whoops him he'll have passed the test ggg failed vs jacobs,as he was unable to deal with being a half inch smaller. & He couldn't handle a decently well rounded puncher. Jacobs had a flawless gameplan except he showed g too much respect,g was throwing single jabs all night headhunting,& Everytime jacobs traded w him g started just focusing on defense only.

Wow this is pretty crazy. IMO the only one who beats Golovkin is Ward, because he's a much better version of what Jacobs brought. All the stocky guys, Lemieux, Canelo, Stevens etc get KO'd by Golovkin. It's fine though, it would be great if Canelo was that good. I just think it is a mistake for his career. Think of what his record looks like 5 years from now without Golovkin. And without a potential beat down.

Lol DLH is being a baby here. You knew BEFORE the fight that this PPV would do 150-200K. Why come out with this **** now.

Give the guy the PPV split and call it a day.

A guy that's promoted by the powers that be as the "most feared guy in boxing." And lil goofballs like the GGG fanboys on here eat it up. Arum was successful doing it with Plasterman. K2 and HBO have been successful doing it with GGG.
I don't know how he was "The most feared guy in boxing" When Judah had 90% of the belts and was P4P #10??? But just like now GGG fans are acting like Lemuix belongs in the HOFame after KOing Stevens. ANY and ALL fighters become WORLD DESTROYERS when they sign up to fight GGG...And then back into a...

To me, its like Floyd said with GGG. Dude us basic as hell. He has good fundamentals. He's defensively responsible. But what makes him him is his power, which is a tad overrated IMO. When GGG has a guy in front of him that's gonna stand right in front of him and not move their head, he's gonna kill him. When he has a guy that's gonna run away from him. He's gonna cut the ring off, and he's gonna kill him. When he has a guy in front of that can't hurt him, and isn't Floyd Mayweather or "Sweet Pea" Whitaker defensively, he's gonna kill him. But you get GGG in the ring with somebody that can punch, to keep him honest, which Canelo can. That has fast hands and can beat him in exchanges, which Canelo can. A guy that can get slip punches, which Canelo can. And a guy that can counter a lot of that slow **** that GGG throws, which Canelo can. You have a fight. GGG is not as good as a lot of you think. And Canelo isn't as bad as some of you think. This may not be a Ward-Kovalev type 50/50 fight. But its no more than 55/45 GGG. And that's only because I think GGG can keep Canelo on the end of his jab enough to beat him on points. Especially since Canelo isn't a guy that's gonna do a lot of throwing and working his way inside on GGG. He's gonna sit on the outside and wait for counter opportunities, which he'll get. It just won't be enough to win enough rounds to win the fight. I think will provide more highlights and fireworks. But GGG will be more consistent throughout the fight and win a close decision. The commentary after the fight will be that Canelo didn't work enough.

$15,000,000 will be more than ANY deserving split. How much of a split do you think they should split???

33% GGG 33% Canelo and 34% Oscar??? So WHO should take less??? Oscar or Canelo to GGG since he wants at LEAST 40%???
