He did get hurt against Whyte but recovered and knocked Whyte out. I've heard of the rumors in sparring as well that he got hurt. Keep in mind Klitschko got knocked out by Ross Puritty, Corrie Sanders and Lamon Brewster and he got dropped 3 times and almost knocked out by Sam Peter in their first fight back in 2005. They both have questions. At 41 years old and with the wear and tear. I'm going with the younger fresher Joshua in this one.

Explain your defintion of nearly getting knocked out bongo ? Stuggled against Whyte? Ahahaha he put him to sleep... Won every round in that fight other than round 2..and let's be honest, AJ was winning round 2 as well, he just got caught with 1 big shot. I'd hardly call getting hit with one punch in a fight a struggle.

I read somewhere that he got KO'd in sparring, but didn't pay it much mind. Who was that with? And it's been since the Whyte fight? I'll give it this, he hasn't been hit by as accurate a puncher as Klitschko yet. Despite his age, which I don't find old at all as far as what athletes can do today, he's very accurate and has a lot of different punches he's built through his career. Those adjustments in the Pulev fight may have been my favorite.
