I doubt this fight happens especially if GGG fights Canelo in September. But aye I ain't complaining if it does go down I just don't want to get hyped up for something that may never take place.

Type of fight I wouldn't get excited about until it's actually signed...too many ifs involved.

Like you said, GGG had no choice but to fight Brook or lose the date and the biggest purse of his career.

Canelo though, he actually chose Khan as an opponent when he could have fought GGG, or some other legit MW, instead.

I also believe that Kell Brook at 160 was a much stiffer test than Khan at 155. Kell is naturally bigger, takes a much better shot, and hits harder than Amir.

Khan was giving Canelo fits with his speed. It was just a matter of WHEN Canelo was going to catch him. I believe they were both about the same betting odds??? 8-1?? Either way those fights were made for the name and $$$$

A few days ago, trainer Virgil Hunter revealed that his star fighter - IBF, WBA, WBO light heavyweight champion Andre Ward (31-0, 15 KOs) - was still capable of getting down to the super middleweight limit of 168. Ward officially moved up to the light heavyweight limit of 175 in early 2016, but hasn't been down to 168 since November of 2013. Since then he's weighed between 171 to 175.

After the difficulty Golovkin had eeking out a decision against Jacobs, he'd be best advised to stay well clear of Ward at 168!

Bjs = easy fight pick up another belt and become unified champ. Canelo = $. Jacobs = easier fight then Ward and a fight some people want to see again. Ward = @ss whoopin for a DECENT paycheck. Considering their history who do you think they're going to avoid?

AT 168 Ward went the distance against the likes of Miranda, Bika, Abraham and Green. You telling me they are better than GGG? Jacobs has way more punching power than Ward, and he couldn't phase Golovkin. The only chance Ward has is to clinch and cheap shot. But don't look for Ward to sign on for this fight if there is a rehydration clause (which there should be for all fights), Ward is a diva and wants everything on his terms. That's how he was able to get past a weight drained Dawson. GGG has way more leverage than Dawson.

After Jacobs beat em, I guess they've decided to cash him out.

no need to rewrite history. dawson was the champ, he offered to drop down in weight. him and his trainer insisted it was no problem. this was immediately after he beat Hopkins. all ward did was accept the challenge. as a champion dawson had enough power to demand ward move to 175 but he told the whole world he could make 168 with no problem or excuses. no need to cry afterwards. it was a legit victory for ward.

Yeah Dawson was the one who told everyone LIVE he would fight Ward at 168 even before Ward knew anything about it. Some ppl ignore facts for some odd reason???

Then before the contract Dawson contacted them and said he is having issues, asked CW.

And even if Ward wasn't at fault, didn't mean Dawson wasn't drained. He got KO in spawning and never fully recovered.

But who cares, Ward is a dirty ass fighter who wins because he is allowed to cheat. If his ass ever gets deducted points for the bs tackling, grabbing arms, head butting bull, then he'd lose by a mile.

Just make sure he keeps fighting the big fights at home he'll be alright.
