I doubt this fight happens especially if GGG fights Canelo in September. But aye I ain't complaining if it does go down I just don't want to get hyped up for something that may never take place.

Also Ward is iffy. One day he wants to fight, the next day he wants to retire. He needs to make up his mind or vacate and let somebody that's active fight for the belts.

And I only occasionally give the fight sht because GGG dissing Canelo for fighting Khan and saying he would never do that.
Like you said, GGG had no choice but to fight Brook or lose the date and the biggest purse of his career.

Canelo though, he actually chose Khan as an opponent when he could have fought GGG, or some other legit MW, instead.

I also believe that Kell Brook at 160 was a much stiffer test than Khan at 155. Kell is naturally bigger, takes a much better shot, and hits harder than Amir.

Refused to budge? When did Dawson ask to fight at a catchweight? Ward didn't have to budge because Dawson came to him willingly.

As for media quotes getting thrown around during negotiations...of course...fan pressure is supposed to impact fighters right?

The Garglers dont want this to happen

if he can make 168, I'd like to see it

he'd dominate GGG sadly so its not really a competitive match up IMO

Lol! You're talking like you're in the ring with or for Trip. The guy didn't say Ward was superman, just that stylistically, it would be very difficult for Trip to beat Ward if not impossible.

why is it that it is ok for GGG to fight boxers like Jacobs who for sho cheated and came in over 180 and Ward who is a light heavy , but people like mayweather and cun-tnello is screaming that GGG is a Giant. thats some bs
Where do you get your Jacobs was over 180 information from? I thought he skipped all the weigh-ins after Friday morning.

Stylistically Khan was a tougher test than Brook. Neither had a shot...just that a guy with fast hands and the ability to move is a much tougher style for a counterpuncher than say Brook's combination punching is for a stalker type fighter like Trip.
