He already wasted enough time on waiting to get Jacobs to accept the fight, Jacobs was the main reason It was on PPV he made that clear with his intentions on what he thought he should be earning even though he had no world title in possession.

I somewhat hope the fight with BJS and GGG does happen in June, but the timescale from now and then might be too soon, plus like It was said in the article there is absolutely no guarantee that Canelo Alvarez will win this Chavez Jr fight, there is no guarantee Canelo Alvarez won't get a bad cut, get injured, or even get knocked out.
Why risk it and waste several months of activity on one guy that has already played possum and fooled around with making this fight, but never actually put pen to paper, set the big unification fight up It means more right now and It would make him one of the only fully unified champions right now, at least that I'm aware of.
GGG Vs. BJS in possibly England, good event to have and It would allow local Kazakh fans of Golovkin to get over to Britain, much easier to travel that distance instead of spending a super expensive fee to get your ass over to USA.

Later down the stretch maybe there will be more objective look on what is more important - becoming undisputed champion in one weight or jumping divisions, but never becoming undisputed in any of these divisions. As of now the narrative is heavily influenced by Mayweather/Pacquiao fans.
But even they are not consistent. Where guys at 154 have been champions and are not demanded to move to 160, ggg is.

Andrade wants to unify 154, with one proven fighter and no one bats an eye.

Truth is Golovkin started the game late. That's too bad. At 19 he would gave turned pro as a WW if he had been American likely. But then not many Kazakhstan fighters were getting noticed.

When he came to HBO no one wanted to fight him.

Now he's 35 and worth a decent payday, guys at least name drop, but even then they are sitting out waiting for him to age some more.

If Boxing was handled like UFC this would have been the career.

We should of had ggg v Suanders and Canelo and Jacobs last year. GGG v Lara and Charlo this year. And a late push to Zurdo.

This woukd of come off him beating Parker, Sturm, Sergio, Cotto before that.

We'd be talking about a super fight of ggg v Ward or Kov.

Or anyone of those names could have won and been inserted into the discussion.

Instead, its wait, wait, wait. GGG should purposely fight to a 1 point win against Suanders and watch guys suddenly willing.

        Golovkin fought: Jacobs and ???

If he wants more money and acclaim, he will have to move up in weight. If not he and his fans should accept the fact that he will not be as highly regarded as they would like.
who in the higher divisions would provide ggg with more money and acclaim? ... the answer is nobody. jack, degale, ward, zurdo..who else? those are the only names that stand out. at 160 hes gonna have guys like charlo, jacobs, canelo and eubanks. theres just as much money and acclaim at 160 as it is at 168 or 175. . theres nothing wrong with building an entire legacy in one division. who cares about the 154-168 comment.. ward once said he could make 160 to fight floyd but we dont hold him to the fire for that.. the only reason people are telling ggg to move up is because hes been so dominant at 160 knocking everybody out. if he was winning these fights by decision nobody would ask him to move up. just look at Hopkins who spent 20 years at 160 with no pressure to leave..because he wasn't destroying guys he was winning on points.

look at how after the jacobs fight the same ppl that wanted him to move up now want him to stay put lol.. and thats because they see he actually does have competition at 160.

I don't have any skin in the game. I am just saying what is the case. If the middleweight division is weak and people complain that 3G has not fought top notch talent right or wrong that is the reality.

Why is Loeffler worried about "what's best for the UK?" The man wants to make history in front of his countrymen. Can't K2 even make that happen? This deal should've been signed the week after the Jacobs fight!

TEAM GGG- "it's funny how guys only call out Golovkin when he already has a fight signed!"

........Golovkin does NOT have a fight signed, and CANELO challenged Golovkin at the full 160 for 3 times his highest purse and a % of the PPV revenue, for his next fight, and GGG said NO to fighting CANELO.
Golden Boy Promotions' Fax Machine is all out of ink with all the contracts they keep sending to GGG & the coward keeps putting then in the paper-shredder Haha.

I guess GGG won't be like an animal for the CANELO fight afterall, again.(yawn)

GGG wants to fight Billy Joe Saunders a.k.a(BJS)Burger Joint Saunders? A guy coming off the worst performance of his career? The big drama queen show bum fighting saga continues.

                GGG = Going Going Gone

"When the going got tough, Robotkin got going!"
GGG-"Must avoid CANELO, Must reach Khazakistan!"

GGG is clearly DUCKING the CANELO SCHOOLING/KOTY
