Now though, he's faded. Not quite as fast, inactive which has resulted in rust and a loss of stamina, years of not working with a real trainer and fighting in the wrong weight class...it's all added up to a diminished Gamboa.

At his best, he had the ability to beat anyone.
He went FULL Rtard... And Broke 50 cent letting him fight Crawford who weighed at LEAST 147++lbs that night was EXTRA FULL RTARD x100.

Gamboa lost some PRIME years messing around with the wrong promoters. I don't know what it is with Good/GREAT Cubanos and crappy promoters that get them???

What a shame, Gamboa is insanely talented, I never realized how talented he was until I saw him giving Crawford hell. I still think that stoppage was too early.

gamboa a little past his prime but still has enough and probably will beat lomachenko, he outboxed crawford for 4 rounds, fights smart and he'll beat lomachenko after all salido managed it

"At his best" and (probably) at no more than 126, yes, he had that potential.

But he has squandered it, and the opportunities it brought. He is too small (even at 130 against the elite), too old and too ill-disciplined to get back to that point now. The best he can hope for is to be matched into a decent payday opportunity.

As each of them are right now Lomanchenko destroys him.

When was the last time that Gamboa beat a guy in fashion?.
He used to beat good fighters like it was nothing, now he struggles with bad fighters.
Such a shame but he's fading and he fights with a young man style.
