The moment you knew "he" was your favorite

    Whoever "he" is/was.

What fight/moment pinned it for you as far as your favorite fighter?

While Mayweather/Gatti was a memorable beating for the ages, I knew the dude had something special with the picture perfect, flawlessly timed hook on Ricky Hatton after fighting in the trenches for 9 rounds.

I wouldn't say he became a favorite but watching Bradley against the ropes just swinging for the fences when he was out on his feet against Provodnikov made me a fan. I had hated Bradley since the Alexander fight but watching his heart against Ruslan I became a fan.

Brian Sutherland had me the moment I laid eyes on the flowing locks of his mullet that glistened like gold with his hair blowing gently in the wind like a woman's dress hanging on a clothesline on a breezy spring day

Ricardo Torres vs Miguel Cotto..... Cotto in that 2nd Round was on the verge of being stopped but held on and put on a body clinic.

My boy Tyson Fury. The date proudly displayed on my sign below.
They said you couldn't get a decision in Germany. He moved & grooved for 12 rounds. Hands behind his back against ****ing Dr Steel Hammer. I couldn't believe my eyes.

Then it came. And the NEWWWWWWW!.... I ****ing jumped up so high & screamed at everyone around me from the top of my lungs including my Dad "I told youuuuuu, you pieces of ****s!".

That my folks, is a real story.

Hatton fought like a complete moron in that fight. What was he doing when he got hit with that hook? All fight he was taking shots to the head from Floyd and he didnt adjust once. Joke of a fight

When he threw his wife off the balcony, that's when I knew that Monzon was to be my favourite boxer now and for all time

                  I got two

When he got off the ground 3 times to become a top 5 fighter again against Samuel Peter

When he dropped the undefeated J-Rock with a jab

Watching Mike Tyson leave Marvis Frazier slumped in the corner in 30 secs on Wide World of Sports just validated all the hype.
