not really the case. jacobs has one notable win on his resume, an inactive and basically retired peter quillin. golovkin actually has more top 10 wins than any active boxer since he came to america a few years back. he's been fighting jacobs level opponents now [contenders,] for a while.

murray, lemieux, etc were as accomplished as jacobs. not as overrated by a certain "demographic," but that's expected from a group of guys who do noting but get intimidated by golokvin because he is white.

hell, murray could have easily be the champion of the world at MW after his razor thin fight against martinez in argentina. that fight was closer than golovkin - jacobs, in sergio's backyard, and martinez was the guy getting dropped.

Jacobs was a step up in comp imo, hes more athletic and is a decent boxer. all the rest of what u are talking about as far as demographics and race is played out. how in the hell does criticizing GGGee equal oppression to the white race???, maybe some go to far in their criticism but its happened to fighters with way more accomplishments so welcome to the real world... but im not interested in a back n forth over that.

Yeah Golovkin should hang it up and pass the spotlight torch to Rigo with 500 amateur fights and younger than GGG!

he was on the floor against sergio mora and pirog completely undressed him. his only notable win is peter quillin, a part time, unmotivated fighter at best who is all but retired now.

"imo he's more athletic" is not a profound argument

                Lol ridiculous hyperbole.

It's questionable whether he is even on the decline. Styles make fights, and Jacobs is a terrific, under appreciated boxer. You can't determine from that whether Golovkin is on the decline, let alone shot.

Shot means shot. Glen Tapia is shot.

Nobody knows if he's declined, because nobody knows how good he was to begin with. That's the fact of the matter people. He's had a career of fighting shit.

You'd be a fool not to think he's past his prime. He's not shot though

well we all have our opinions, I think hes a decent B level fighter which is very good. It was a good win for gggee his best at MW imo. Lemiux was a decent win too but nothing worth making a thread comparing to other fighters victories.... I don't think Lemiux would beat Jacobs but id love to see the fight. not sure what your argument is, ggg is getting older and is stepping up his comp u wont see as many KOs and dominant victories as this happens
