Yes, Canelo ducked him. Yes, GGG didn't want anything to do with Ward. Will he beat Saunders?Absolutely, but we all know Saunders is ****.

His resume is still wanting for more, and the Jacobs fight didn't do anything to support the legendary tag the boxing world is trying to bestow on him. We need a little more. Hopefully that comes with a TKO of Alvarez soon.
lol seriously ? he begged to fight sturm and martinez for years but got ignored, until cotto won the belt which lead to canelo-golovkin rivalry

1st legit top skilled fighter who wanted to sign contract is pirog but he was forced to retired, his fight with andy lee cancelled too coz his father passed out during training

he wanted to fight chavez but cancelled coz chaves had trouble with promotor or sth, same case with ward

The Cuban, lara is one of the only who can beat golovkin.
Lara and Ward! Ward is a southpaw that fights in an orthodox stance!

Like Jacobs, Ward is big enough to take anything Golovkin catches him with, so tend to agree with Roach here.

Not sure about Lara - sure, he can do the movement thing, but can he brush off getting caught. What we learned is that a big MW with skills can box him. Next question is can a small MW with skills box him.

Jacobs had enough of a 1-punch threat that Golovkin had to think his way in, and the foot movement to keep him resetting. Lara doesn't have that 1-punch threat.

Ward ? Depends on when Golovkin tasted it. If he felt he could barge in, it would turn into one of the ugliest fights imaginable.
Lara will do the "movement thing," a.k.a. ring generalship, and that would fatigue GGG even more, however Lara is 10 times more accurate with his right jab and straight left than Jacobs. GGG's only way to beat Lara is a KO. Honestly, Lara should've gotten the decision vs. Canelo, or at least a draw!

Golovkin cuts off the ring, Canelo doesn't. Golovkin will be able to walk through Lara's shots to force exchanges, which he couldn't do with Jacobs as Jacobs had enough power to keep him thinking his way in. With Lara, Golovkin cuts off the ring, walks through whatever Lara tries to keep him off with and ****s. He can't do that with Jacobs or Ward.

(and as for marketability....Canelo/Lara did 300k buys. Golovkin/Lara wouldn't crack 100k. I for one never wanted to see Lara again after Canelo - whoever one thinks won, it was a pretty dull fight with Lara potshotting and running, then Canelo ineffectively following him around.)

future ggg opponents are getting knocked out brutally thinking he was "exposed". what other middleweight is gonna outweigh ggg by 15-20 lbs? what other middleweight has jacobs height reach and speed? along with KO power. theres a reason jacobs is the second best at middleweight. willie monroe is a slick boxer with enough skills to make anybody look bad..and he got folded vs ggg because his power didn't get respect. it wasnt Jacobs footwork that worried ggg it was the handspeed, height, reach and power.

The 1st lie was LIL G would fight anyone from 154 to 168. Ward called him out and tried to make the fight with HBO at 168 and Sanchez and LIL G's hearts pumped Kool Aid and tried to get ONLY WARD to fight him at CATCHWEIGHT 164!
